The new 2019 Calendars are here and available to purchase! If you're interested in picking up your copy, visit the Alexandria Historical and Genealogical Library during open hours. Calendars are $10.00 each. If you prefer to have your calendar mailed, it is $10.00 plus $2.00 postage and handling.

The calendar includes vintage and historical photographs each month. It makes a great keepsake or a gift for the family historian or genealogist! If you have any questions you can call the AHGL at 318-487-8556 during our open hours or email: ahgl@att.net

The Irish Genealogical Research Society has updated its Early Irish Birth, Marriage and Death Indexes with the addition of 11,000 new entries. The update includes some 7,500 death entries from newspaper published between 1740 and 1810.
